Kids and their teeth

You want your children to have the best start in life, as do the team at Boulton Dental. That’s why it’s important to ensure your children learn to look after their teeth from an early age. At Boulton Dental in Merewether, we want your children to have a positive experience each time they visit us. We have gone to some trouble to make our practice a relaxed and comfortable place for your child, we even have iPads for them to use in the waiting area and TVs on the roof with headphones to watch during their visit.

There are so many things to remember: school needs, bath time, doctors visits, growing bodies, vaccinations, make sure they are eating correctly, and that is just for starters.

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY CHILD FOR THEIR FIRST DENTAL VISIT?

We like to see children starting from around 12 months of age or as soon as the first two teeth have erupted. Dental problems can start from as early as 9 months. The sooner we can identify if your child is at risk (or not), the better.
