APPOINTMENTS

We do our best to run a tight ship here. That means that we can give you certainty about your dental appointment time.

To make that happen, we need you and all our patients to help us to make sure you don’t have to wait.

If you arrive late for an appointment, that means that either your appointment time is cut short or the next person must wait (and the rest of the day falls apart). So, please, be on time.

We understand that traffic, a late babysitter, a demanding boss or other circumstances can upset your own schedule. If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, let us know and we can re-schedule your appointment.

CANCELLATIONS

Due to the difficulty of filling last-minute cancellations, we ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice. This helps us keep our costs down so we can pass them on to you.

Where insufficient notice has been given (within 24 hours), or no notice at all, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $50 to rebook your next appointment. This deposit will go toward your next appointment and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Where there is a history of failing to attend you may be asked for a deposit of 50% to secure your next visit.

EMERGENCIES

We provide same day emergency service to all patients, including new patients. We hold space daily for these appointments.

No matter what your emergency, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.

HASSLE-FREE HEALTH COVER CLAIMS

If you have private health cover, our HICAPS facility allows you to claim directly to your health fund, making claiming fast and hassle free.

However, we remind you that your policy is an agreement between you and your health fund. Please keep in mind that your insurance benefits may result in less coverage than you anticipated.

Rest assured that the fees we charge are the same whether or not you have private health cover. However, your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may differ from our fees.
