Before and After SMILE GALLERY
- This patient did not like their smile.
- The crookedness of the teeth had been an issue for years.
- Along with the different colours/shades through the enamel.
- Over three appointments the desired result was achieved with 8 lab made porcelain Emax veneers.
- This patient had temporary veneers for 2 weeks while the final porcelain veneers were being made.
- The composite veneers on the two front teeth had broken a couple of times and they were very discoloured.
- The gaps in between the teeth had been a minor concern but the patient wasn’t worried if the gap remained.
- Over three appointment a combination of lab made Emax porcelain crowns and veneers where made for the 8 upper anterior teeth and then 2 composite veneers where placed on the second premolars (5th tooth back from the midline).
- This patient has a deciduous (baby) canine tooth that was initially very short compared to the adjacent teeth. It was also darker in colour and the tooth pointed towards the lip at the biting surface more than the area around the gum.
- There were several phases to this treatment (some which are not shown here). Some of the gum was removed (gingivectomy) around the tooth and make the crown appear longer. This had to heal for 6 weeks. Then the second phase was to reshape the tooth with a Bioclear composite veneer using the injection moulding technique with heated monolithic composite resin.
- This patient did not like the gap between the front teeth. There was chipping and staining of old composite on the two front teeth. The left front tooth has also been rotated relative to the right one.
- The treatment was done over two appointments with lab made Emax porcelain crowns.
- Greying and yellowing of their teeth
- Chipping and mottling shades/colours throughout the enamel.
- Using the Bioclear method of injection moulding with 8 composite veneers.
- Old composite veneers that were starting to go yellow and staining.
- They were also very hard to clean with food trapping in between the teeth.
- 8 composite veneers were hand crafted using the Bioclear method of injection moulding with heated composite to replace the 6 old composite veneers with 8 new composite veneers.
