The well- established and highly reputable local dental practice, Boulton Dental is delighted to be the new partner of Merewether United Football Club. The popular Merewether dental practice is looking forward to caring for the players, supporters and their families and helping them to achieve optimal oral health and wellness.

Boulton Dental has been servicing the local Newcastle community for decades. Practice Principal and founder, Dr Boulton is highly respected by his industry peers and in the community always exploring new ways to deliver exceptional care to patients and the community. “All our dentists are highly skilled, caring and committed to continual professional development to maintain and enhance their skills”, mentions Beath. “We use state-of-the art technology and equipment and offer a comprehensive range of services for our patients”. “The partnership with Merewether United Football Club provides an ideal avenue for us to further support and serve the local community and keep them smiling” says Beath.

Merewether United Football Club (MUFC) was founded in 1953 and for 63 years has been providing football opportunities for a broad cross-section of the community. The Women’s Premier League commenced in 2009 with Merewether United Football Club as one of the foundation teams. Today it stands as one of only two inaugural teams left in the competition.

The Merewether side has become a serious contender in this elite competition over the past few years making appearances in numerous finals series across all the Women’s Premier League age groups.  Last season the first-grade team were again the major premiers in a 4-3 grand final match described as the best women’s football match that has ever been seen in Newcastle.

MUFC Club Captain and WPL Committee Member, Lori Depczynski is delighted to have the prominent local dental practice on board, “the club is committed to continuing to build upon the increasing exposure of women’s sport to the general public and look forward to having Boulton Dental join us on this journey” says Depczynski.

The competition season has recently commenced with games running into late August with competition games generally held on Sundays. Myamblah Crescent Oval is the home-game venue for all four women’s teams with a minimum of 10 games played there over the 21-round season.
